NoteAble AI (“we”, “our”, “us”) is operated by Matthew Giglio, based in Adelaide, South Australia.
We provide tools for support workers and service providers to capture, manage, and draft session notes using AI.

1. Our Commitment to Privacy

We are subject to the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
We aim to handle your information responsibly, securely, and transparently.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information needed to provide and improve our service, including:

  • Account Information: Name, email address, and contact details.
  • User Content: Session notes, audio recordings, transcripts, and documents you upload.
  • Participant Data: NDIS participant details (e.g., goals, strategies) entered by you.
  • Usage Data: Analytics on how you use the app (e.g., features accessed).
  • Payment Information: Processed securely via Stripe (we do not store card details).

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Generate AI-assisted drafts and summaries of session notes.
  • Personalize your experience (e.g., "Clinical Memory" and "Style Profile" features).
  • Maintain accounts and provide customer support.
  • Improve the quality and reliability of our service.
  • Meet compliance and security requirements.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

4. Storage and Security

  • Service providers: We use reputable cloud service providers (for example, Supabase) to host the service.
  • Encryption: We use encryption in transit (TLS) and encryption at rest where supported by our providers.
  • Access control: Access to production systems is restricted and audited.

5. AI Processing and Data Privacy

We use AI providers (for example, OpenAI and Anthropic) to generate drafts and summaries. This means some content you enter may be sent to those providers for processing.

  • Our use: We do not use your content to train our own models.
  • Provider handling: AI providers may retain or process data according to their terms and your chosen configuration.
  • Secure transmission: Data sent to AI providers is encrypted in transit.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

  • You may request deletion or export of your data via hello@noteable.com.au.
  • Deletion requests remove data from active systems. Backup retention and deletion timelines depend on provider backup cycles.

7. Your Rights

Under the APPs, you may:

  • Access or correct your personal information.
  • Request deletion of your account and data.
  • Lodge a complaint regarding privacy handling.
